The future Golden Palace Casino in Digne-les-Bains is set to open in September 2026. Taking advantage of the public visiting programme held during construction, BMAX produced a 360° virtual tour so you can explore the venue before it even opens its doors.
Construction is progressing: opening planned for September 2026
Work is moving along well. The exterior of the building is clad in timber (beech, as far as we know), which blends naturally into the mountainous landscape of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. It is a compelling architectural choice, combining concrete and wood for both structure and high-performance natural insulation.
The opening is expected in September 2026, which would make it a notable new entertainment destination for the capital of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.
What you will discover inside
The interior layout is designed across two levels.
On the ground floor: the main entrance, the gaming room on the left, the restaurant area on the right, and the kitchen at the back. It is a versatile space built around the synergy between gaming and dining.
Upstairs: a meeting room available to rent, offices, and a technical room.
In the gaming room, we took the liberty of imagining where the tables and electronic games might go. The result gives a good sense of the atmosphere once the machines are in place.
A 360° virtual tour to explore the venue before it opens
The virtual tour was captured with a professional 360° camera during the construction period that was open to the public. This kind of content lets future visitors picture themselves in the space before ever setting foot inside, and allows venue operators to start communicating from the pre-opening phase.
